Every year The Big Draw holds events in venues of every kind across the UK to celebrate and get people involved in drawing. The events are for everyone- for people who love to draw but also for those who think they can’t. The idea is to join in and have fun. In 2012 over 200,000 people took part and there were 1400 events across the UK.
Events take place in schools, museums, galleries, libraries, heritage sites, parks, schools, care homes, hospitals, shopping centres and more! This year, the Big Draw and the Family Arts Festival have joined forces and there will be events running all around the UK.
You never know, there may be a budding David Hockney, Pablo Picasso or Tracey Emin in your house!
