Family friendlyCar parking is either side of the museum. The Coffee Shop is across the courtyard, with high chairs, and close to the toilets and baby changing facilities. The Museum Shop sells an interesting collection of gifts that reflect the local economic and social history of the area. Next to the Museum is Abbot Hall park with a play area.
AccessibilityThe museum is close to one of the main access routes into Kendal, close to the town centre and the bus and train stations. The ground floor and shop areas, as well as the coffee shop and toilets are accessible for wheel chair users.
