Get Creative Family Arts Festival is extended!
The Festival will now take place over a 24 day period, from 9 October – 1 November 2015. Not only that but this year we'll also be partnering with the BBC Arts Get Creative initiative to become the Get Creative Family Arts Festival.
All this means that we'll be able to bring you even more high quality family arts events taking place near you and across the whole of the United Kingdom, making it bigger and better than ever before.
Family Arts Festival 2014 included over 4,500 events and this time there’ll be even more to choose from. Whether you’re into theatre, dance, music, visual arts, or you’re looking to try something new: familyartsfestival.com is your one-stop-shop for arts activities for you and your family. And whether you’re a family with younger children or older children, you’re just as likely to find something interesting and engaging to participate in together.
From June onwards you’ll be able to use familyartsfestival.com to start planning your family arts activities for October 9 – November 1, which includes the half-term week. Until then, keep in touch with us via our newsletter, Facebook and Twitter pages, and we’ll keep you updated on exciting new events.
In the meantime, have a look at our map to find a family friendly organisation near you. All of these organisations meet the Family Arts Standards, offering a programme of activities for a range of ages throughout the year, and you can be sure to receive an excellent family welcome.
